What To Expect
Starting something new can come with a lot of questions. At Kind Mind Collective, the process is designed to be comfortable, collaborative, and clear from the beginning. You'll always know what to expect, and we'll move at a pace that feels right for you.
1. Meet & Greet
We'll start with a relaxed Meet & Greet where we can get to know each other. You'll have an opportunity to share what brought you to coaching, ask questions, and learn more about how neurodiversity coaching may support you or your child.
2. Making Sure We're a Good Fit
Coaching is personal, and feeling comfortable with the person you're working with matters. After our Meet & Greet, you can decide whether Kind Mind Collective feels like the right fit for you. There's no pressure to continue.
3. Your First Session
Our first coaching session is about getting to know you. We'll talk about your experiences, strengths, challenges, interests, routines, environment, and what you would like support with. There is no expectation to have everything figured out before you arrive.
For children and teens, caregivers may also be involved so we can develop a fuller understanding of what is working well and where additional support may be helpful.
4. Collaborative Goals
Together, we'll identify goals that feel meaningful, realistic, and supportive. Rather than focusing on what you should be doing, we'll explore what works for your brain, your needs, and your life.
5. Ongoing Support
From there, our sessions may include conversation, practical strategies, resources, activities, reflection, problem-solving, and trying different approaches to discover what works best for you.
There is no one-size-fits-all approach. Coaching can change and evolve as your needs do.
At Kind Mind Collective, you don't need to arrive with all the answers. We can figure out what works, together.
